Legal
Privacy Policy
This is a translation for your convenience. The German version of this privacy policy is the legally binding one.
This privacy policy covers this website only. The Krace Android app has its own privacy policy, which you can find in the app's Google Play listing.
1. Controller
The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for the processing of personal data on this website is:
Kammann Schweter Kania GbR
Böllrodt 2B
45470
Mülheim an der Ruhr
Germany
- Phone: +49 208 78019057
- E-mail: contact@ksk-it.net
Further details about the provider are set out in the legal notice.
2. General information on data processing
This website is a purely informational site about the Krace app. It has no user accounts, no ordering function and, at present, no forms. We process personal data only where this is necessary to operate and deliver this website, or where you contact us on your own initiative.
Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (Art. 4 (1) GDPR). You can use this website without providing personal data.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is operated as a static website with a hosting provider that delivers the pages on our behalf. Where that provider processes personal data for us, this is done on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Each time a page is requested, access data is automatically written to a log file. The following is recorded:
- the IP address of the requesting device,
- the date and time of the request,
- the requested file and the volume of data transferred,
- the page visited before (referrer),
- the browser and operating system of the device (user agent).
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and trouble-free operation of the website, in defending against attacks and in investigating misuse.
Log files are deleted or anonymised after 30 days at the latest. If they are needed exceptionally to investigate a specific security incident, we keep them until that incident has been resolved. This data is not combined with other data sources.
4. Cookies, local storage and reach measurement
This website sets no cookies. We use no tracking pixels, no advertising networks, no social media plugins and no profiling. No third-party content is embedded that would open a connection to external servers when the page loads, for example videos, maps or font services.
Your browser stores one thing locally: the language you pick with the language switcher, and whether you dismissed the note offering the page in another language. It is held in your browser's local storage, is never transmitted to us and contains no identifier. Because it only provides the display you asked for, it is strictly necessary within the meaning of § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG and requires no consent. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
We use no analytics or statistics services. There is no reach measurement, and your behaviour on this website is not evaluated. A consent banner is therefore not required.
5. Fonts
The fonts used on this website are stored on our own server and delivered from there. No connection is made to servers operated by Google or by any other web font provider. Your IP address is not transmitted to third parties for this purpose.
6. Contacting us by e-mail
If you write to us by e-mail, we process your e-mail address and the information contained in your message in order to handle and answer your enquiry.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to the conclusion or performance of a contract. In all other cases the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
We delete this data once your enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention periods apply.
7. External links and Google Play
This website links to external services, in particular to the Krace app listing in the Google Play Store. When you click such a link you leave our website. From that point on the respective provider is responsible for the data processing, for Google Play this is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. We have no influence on their processing.
Google's privacy policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
8. Your rights as a data subject
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- right of access (Art. 15 GDPR),
- right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR),
- right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
- right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- right to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR),
- right to withdraw a consent you have given, with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).
A message to contact@ksk-it.net is enough to exercise these rights.
9. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, https://www.ldi.nrw.de. You may also contact the supervisory authority where you live.
10. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons this website is delivered over a TLS-encrypted connection. You can tell that encryption is active because your browser's address bar starts with https:// and shows a padlock symbol. While encryption is active, the data your browser transmits cannot readily be read by third parties.
11. Changes to this policy
We update this privacy policy when the legal situation changes or when we add features to the website that involve different data processing. The version published here is the one that applies.
